Kaylee started her first business at age 8 and has not stopped building since. She founded The Exceptional Plan in 2021 with a simple mission: give every entrepreneur access to the business consulting team they deserve. Under her leadership, our team has facilitated over $2.2 billion in funding and served more than 1,000 clients across 65+ countries with a 100% SBA approval rate.
With a background in marketing and a deep understanding of what it takes to start, scale, and exit a business, Kaylee leads client relationships personally and reviews every major deliverable. Her vision is to reduce global business failure rates by 10% through better planning, smarter strategy, and business plan consultants who actually care about the outcome. She leads our strategic advisory practice and the Exceptional Start Program.
Seth graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Finance in 2013 and brings over 13 years of business ownership experience to our team. He specializes in fractional controller roles for organizations ranging from $500K to $30M in revenue, providing the financial leadership that growing businesses need without the cost of a full-time hire.
His deep expertise in nonprofit accounting, compliance, and financial reporting makes him an essential part of our business advisory team. Seth works directly with clients on accounting services, financial planning and analysis, and the financial infrastructure that supports every SBA business plan and fractional CFO engagement.
It takes a village to start, scale, and run a business. We are yours.
